The story behind the name ……
Olive and Oak Vintage Home, pays homage to both my previous and current residences. Both homes exuded a warmth and a secure atmosphere, filled with love and comfort. The first home nestled in the countryside boasted two magnificent oak trees, while my current home is adorned with olive trees. This combination of nature and the cherished feeling of home is what defines Olive and Oak Vintage Home.

Hello, my name is Julie, I am a mum, I love beautiful homewares and I create handcrafted timber furniture (@backpaddockstudio) in my studio/shed. As an artisan, I believe that a home should reflect the personality and style of those who live there. This belief has inspired me to launch – “Olive and Oak Vintage Home”.
Not only am I able to showcase my handcrafted timber furniture but I also offer a curated selection of homewares that complement any home. I believe that a house becomes a home when its filled with pieces that bring both joy and comfort.
